oconel (who, after more than a year in chat with me, has gotten quite used to it) but also in other people's journals (a belated 'sorry' for that, guys). There was quite a bit of happymakinggoodness that it deserves a post.

This fic deals with Arthur's death in such a wonderful way that it left me stunned. Now, I don't like character death fics and I try to avoid them as much as I can. So, for the past years we've had this thing in the week leading up to Christmas which is called Serious Request. 3 radio djs go into a glass house where, during the length of their stay (this year almost a week) they do not eat and make non-stop radio. Every record they play has been requested and paid for. All the proceeds go to a cause the Red Cross is supporting. This year it's the fight against malaria (other years it's been landmines, clean drinking water etc...).
This video below is something that happened last night during Snow Patrol's Just Say Yes. Sorry it's not the best quality, but this way you won't have to search for it.

Happy birthday, sweets!
Just wanted to say how happy I am that I start babbling at you over Merlin when I was recovering from my accident! Why we didn't do that sooner I don't know, but I'm so so happy we did!!! I enjoy our chats so much, not matter what it's about!! And the fic writing is a pure, pure joy :D

Several people on my f-list have put up Holiday Wish Lists and I've been thinking about putting up one myself, so here goes.
1) Be kind to someone simply because you can.
2) Give, no matter how little or how small. Be it to your local charity, your local rescue center or to a company like Heifer. It doesn't need to be a huge donation because, likewook77 said, these organisations know how to stretch their money and literally anything you can give them will work.
3) Comment. There are quite a number of fests going on right now or they will start posting soon. A comment can literally make a person's day.
4) Art for my fic (be it what I wrote on my own or with co-writers).
5) Gift fic in any of my fandoms :D
